Amanda Seyfried Bought a Dead Pony Named Antoine

Oh Amanda Seyfried, your depths are so surprisingly deep. Amanda continues to surprise her fans with her eclectic taste in projects, and now with her even more exotic tastes in home furnishings.

While she was in England for the British premiere of Red Riding Hood, Amanda was so taken with a taxidermied miniature horse named Antoine that she bought the dead animal and brought him home with her. Hopefully her dog, an Australian shepherd named Finn, won't mind the new addition.

"I got another animal, I'm going to share -- I bought a three week old just this week, well it was three weeks old when it died, (it's a) miniature horse," she explained to the UK Press Association.

"It's being shipped to LA as we speak. And it's going to be Finn's new best friend unless he tries to eat it. It's like this big. I can carry it."

She added: "It's very well done. It's the best taxidermy in the world. Its name is Antoine."

Let us be the first to congratulate Antoine on his cozy new digs in Amanda's (now slightly creepy) home.
